Currently, our core focus and strongest protection applies to images generated *within* the DesignDash platform, as we embed C2PA and mint the NFT simultaneously with creation. While the underlying IP protection technology *could* potentially be applied to external images in the future, this is not part of the primary workflow at this time.

The NFT (Non-Fungible Token) we mint on the Firmachain blockchain acts as a unique, publicly verifiable digital certificate of **ownership** for your specific visual asset. It's linked to the image and its C2PA data. **No crypto knowledge is required** – our platform handles the entire minting and management process seamlessly for you.

We use Firmachain, a blockchain built with the Cosmos SDK. We chose it for its focus on data integrity, verifiable records, efficiency, and potential for future integration with smart contracts for features like licensing, making it well-suited for managing digital IP assets reliably.

While an NFT is distinct from formal copyright registration with a government office, it serves as powerful, immutable **evidence** supporting your ownership claim. It provides a timestamped, publicly verifiable record showing when the asset was registered under your control on the blockchain, linked directly to its C2PA provenance data. This significantly strengthens your position in IP disputes.

Not at all! Our platform is designed with an intuitive UI to **abstract away the complexity**. You interact with simple visual generation tools and asset management dashboards, while the C2PA embedding, NFT minting, and blockchain interactions happen automatically and seamlessly in the background.

Credits are used when generating AI images with DesignDash. 1 credit is consumed each time you click the Generate button and receive a set of generated images (up to 4 images). In other words, the credit is deducted for a batch of images produced in a single generation session, not for each individual image within that batch.

For the Free plan: You get 5 credits every day. Unused credits do not carry over to the next day. For the Pro plan: You receive 400 credits when you purchase the plan. • The credits reset to 400 on your billing date each month. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.

You can find details about your plan from the profile section of the website by going to Profile > Manage account > Plan. This is what it looks like on the Free plan: *Image of plan_mgmt_free* And on the Pro plan: *Image of plan_mgmt_pro*

There are a couple ways you can upgrade your plan from Free to Pro: From the pricing pag. From the plan section in your profile: Plan > Upgrade to Pro. You will then be taken to the checkout page where you can complete the purchase.

If you change your mind and decide to cancel your subscription, go to Profile > Manage account > Plan > Modify plan and click on "Cancel plan". After canceling, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. At the end of the billing period, your subscription will be downgraded from Pro to Free, and you will not be charged again.
